Unknown Location Knott's Berry Farm

Although a rather dark image, it appears to be the barn where the horses for the Stagecoach live. I assume that this was towards the back of Knott's Berry Farm. The photograph was taken during a Christmas holiday visit to Southern California in 1964. I tried brightening up the image without distorting the color and image.

Hi PJ! Do you think this image may be the barn where they kept the Burros? The reason why I think that might be it is because the fence appears to be a chute of some kind to keep the animals single file (going out and coming in) on the right side of the image. Just a thought. : )

I received an e-mail asking if that was an ostrich in the middle of the picture. It appears that there is an ostrich in the image so this may be from the Alligator Farm. I do not know if they had large birds there or not.

Patrick - Based on the trees in the background, my guess is that this could be an area near Old MacDonald's Farm at Knott's. Neat view.
