Jungleland 1965 Seal Pool

A very colorful play structure for seals at Jungleland in 1965. Jungleland was a wild animal themed park located in Thousand Oaks, California. The location is now a city park. The structure looks like a steam roller with the drum out front. Based upon the wear, the seals love this structure.

In the background is the station for the Jungleland Express with a great sign at the top of the A Frame ticket booth. The mask is very cool looking somewhat African and Tiki mixed together.

What a great, colorful photo. I still remember driving on the 101 Freeway and looking down into the old empty animal enclosures.

Wow! That's an extra nice shot. It looks like the Jungleland Express station is still under construction.
